Why?
To feel safe surrendering
to the strength and swirl of the wind,
one with the sound and light
which the wind, too, cannot deny.
To be lifted, to see more,
yet let it all pass:
a forest and its trees,
the branch and its leaves,
how the fog at once obscures one scene
while revealing another,
how it looks still
while it actually rises.
To feel the space between the eyes and the object,
and the splash of subtle rain drops descending there.
To let yourself be taught by them.
To see what nothing is behind
this dance of figures,
and then
to relax the grasp
with trust.
